The SM500F can be easily installed into a panel, wall or pipe without the additional expense of costly enclosures normally required to field mount a traditional videographic recorder. Its unique fully sealed NEMA 4X and IP66 enclosure provides full protection against water, dirt and dust, making it perfect for hose-down and dirty applications out in the field and at the process.
The SM500F is available with a choice of either a color or monochrome user friendly display to present process data in a variety of display formats including chart, bargraph and digital indicator views. On-screen historical logs provide operators easy access to alarm, totalizer and audit trail data in a friendly Microsoft Windows® environment. Process data and historical logs are securely archived to a removable common SD Camera Card with a huge capacity of up to 2Gb. Immediate support can be accessed via an extensive online help feature.
An onboard web-server provides SM500F operators with access to real-time data using the Microsoft Internet Explorer platform. The SM500F's built-in Ethernet communications link enables historical data to be remotely downloaded while this link also provides the ability to interface with a SCADA system using Modbus TCP protocol as well as sending email notifications of process status and events.
Fully compliant with the FDA's 21 CFR Part 11 regulations concerning electronic process data collection, the SM500F is ideal for any installation where local indication and recording of process conditions is needed. Typical applications include cold storage, warehouse monitoring, temperature and humidity monitoring, and water and wastewater applications.
