You can now quadruple the accuracy of your existing Fizeau interferometer at a very cost-effective price by using Melles Griot Absolute™ Fizeau λ/40 transmission spheres. These transmission spheres extend interferometer absolute accuracy to λ/40 @ 633nm or better.
