AC Power Sources - Model 5900 from Industrial Test Equipment.
The Model 5900 is a high general purpose audio generator. The circuit consists of a low distortion oscillator, a drive amplifier, and a bipolar FET class AB1 power amplifier with an output transformer. The output transformer has three taps to allow utilization of the full power over a wide range of voltages.
- Output Circuit : Isolated output transformer; taps from 0-8V to 0-260V
- Input Power: 115V or 230V, 50Hz or 60Hz
- Regulation: Adjustable to 0.1% line and load
- Frequency Response: Full power 45Hz - 20KHz, reduced power 20Hz -40 KHz
- Input Signal Requirements: Plug-in oscillator or external 0-1V rms. Into 600 ohms
- Short Circuit Protection: automatic reset thermostat Distortion: 0.3% mid-band
- Power Factor Range: 0.7 to -0.7 for full output, to zero @ reduced power
- Dimensions: 5.25" rack by 14" deep
