Armstrong Smart Services Group is pleased to announce the introduction of the SteamEye® Starter Kit, an affordable option for customers interested in trialing wireless trap management technology on a portion of its trap population. The Starter Kit allows customers to expand its SteamEye® installation to include additional traps as acceptance of the technology demands.
SteamEye® is a wireless steam trap monitoring system specifically designed to constantly and accurately monitor steam traps and provide status updates every three minutes. SteamEye® will detect a "failed open" or a "failed closed" steam trap. Knowing when and how steam traps fail affords proactive, cost effective, and preventative maintenance measures.
The SteamEye® Starter Kit contains all of the components necessary to begin wirelessly monitoring critical applications, including:
- Four SteamEye URFC4700 transmitters
- One SteamEye 4000 Series Gateway
- One SteamEye 4000 Series repeater
- Three 1/2" or 3/4" Waveguides (pipe mounting hardware for transmitters)
- One, 1" Waveguide
- Two Heat Sinks (required on transmitters 200 psig and above)
- Two Insulation wraps (required for outdoor
applications)
