Economizers-with their promise of "free-cooling"-are attracting much attention for their ability to reduce energy usage. Economizers also lessen wear and tear on precision cooling equipment and lower operating costs. However, when considering the use of an economizer system, care must be taken to avoid introducing new problems that result in achieving the goal of reducing energy consumption at the expense of data center availability.
Products & Services
HVAC Chillers
Heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) chillers are refrigeration systems that provide cooling for industrial and commercial applications. They use water, oils or other fluids as refrigerants.
Air Conditioners
Air conditioners and building air conditioners are used in industrial, process computing, networking, and other spaces where thermal management is important. Space and spot cooling equipment are used wherever total heat must be controlled or where localized heat sources must be managed. Many refrigerants are used in air conditioners; CFC-free refrigerants are becoming more prevalent and in fact are required in many applications.
